After

Sundog 4

I know it's taken me awhile to write this but it was

just such an amazing yet exhausting experience to put on this

show.  It started months ago with the contemplation of

Halloweem costumes and eventually grew into this night

of over a dozen readers, Tate Young flying out from

Edmonton, Laurie Block stepping in at the last minute with

some great poems, Kare getting back from her big western

trip just in time, music, so much food, Tate, Kate, Stacy, Derek

and I installing my multi-media piece in  the closet Saturday

afternoon - a tangle of fishing line, bits of tape and photographs,

so much laughing and the night wrapping up with shouts of 'Play

some Slayer!' to Sean who patiently waited around until 2am to

do his thing and then that white rabbit went running up 7th

Street.

It was five in the morning when I got home.

I slept for three days to recover.

It was worth every single minute of it.

Thank you to everyone who made it out and made it such a

good night.
